I am a bodyworker. I choose to use this term rather than just massage therapist or myofascial release therapist because of the different modalities that I am trained in, and how I blend them together to give every person a tailored treatment that meets their needs. I can help you:

I use a wide range of techniques in my work including myofascial release, deep tissue maassage, hot & cold stones, mobilisations, trigger point work, muscle energy technique (MET), craniosacral work and neuromuscular techniques. Good massage is a two-way process where you and I meet and work together. Every treatment is unique and I do not work to any set routine. "Massage is like a dance" - it flows, is intuitive and allows the body to find its own pathway to healing.

After our initial conversation, I will choose the techniques I use based on your needs and then flow them together in a way that does not promote pain but seeks to enable your body to bring itself into balance. I will communicate with you and work 'with' you towards your goals rather than just 'doing' massage to you.

An important element of my work is helping you to facilitate a deeper understanding of your body. I do this in a variety of ways including drawing from my yoga and meditation knowledge, as well as my knowledge of the human body. I love to enable people to take ownership of their healing through teaching simple movement or self-massage/ myofascial release techniques.

I do not fix people - no therapist can do that. I prefer to think of myself as the person who facilitates your body to begin healing itself. You are the participant in this process. Your body will speak and we will listen. When we listen, we can understand what needs to change so that pain, stress or imbalance can be released.

Shorter sessions for focused work on specific areas of the body. Techniques may include deep tissue work, Rhythm Mobility, stillness, petrissage, hot and cold stone work, trigger point release, passive or active stretching and MET work.

60 mins massage £50

Standard session allowing for deeper work and relaxation. Techniques may include deep tissue work, Rhythm mobility, stillness, petrissage, hot and cold stone work, trigger point release, passive or active stretching and MET work.
