I was drawn to bodywork after suffering a rock climbing injury followed by a frozen shoulder. I have suffered from chronic pain and understand very well how debilitating it is. I started training in 2011 and loved it so much that I quit my job as an archaeologist and threw myself into learning as much as I could - and having lots of bodywork. I was then lucky enough to move in next door to a lady called Sarah Cohen, who ran the MTI school in Worcestershire. This training opened many doors for me and I remain grateful that the universe provided it!
I have been fortunate to have trained with some of the best bodyworkers in the UK and the US. My core training was undertaken with The Massage Training Institute and Jing. I have also studied with Darrien Pritchard, Teach Therapy, John Gibbons, and Neil Asher.
I undertook my Yoga Teacher training with Yogaview in Chicago in 2012 and returned to deepen my training with them over several years. My main teachers now are Quinn Kearney, Jason Crandell, Leslie Kaminoff and Brea Johnson. I am grateful to everyone I have met in the course of my life through bodywork and yoga, because each person has taught me something.
